Using the theme of an ocean adventure - students progress through four levels as they learn scales: Coral Reef, The Kelp Forest, Deep Sea Trench, or Midnight Depths. Teachers decide what scales they want to assign to each level. Students love to see their own progress, and visually see how the rest of the studio is doing (if the teacher desires.)
This system does not include sheet music or scale exercises. Instead, it provides the structure, visuals, and tracking tools that help students stay engaged and consistent with scale work, no matter which scale books or materials you already use.
Designed for ages 5–15 and easily customizable from beginners through advanced students, the system works alongside the Deep Dive Piano Scales books or any scale curriculum you prefer.
For added flexibility, this system also includes low-ink versions of the student charts. These print-friendly pages are designed to reduce ink usage while maintaining clarity, making them a great option for studios that print materials regularly.
